About the system
Innovative pedestrian detection
The system reliably detects the intention to cross the pedestrian crossing.
The system becomes active and signals the presence of crossing pedestrians to drivers by flashing amber lights. In twilight and darkness, an additional laser light provides enhanced visibility.
Unique solution
To make pedestrians visible
In the area of the crossing, a so-called “light carpet” is created by a laser above the road surface, making the pedestrian’s movement, speed and direction visible.
This operating scheme ensures that drivers do not become accustomed to the SafeXOne system’s signals. This prevents carelessness due to habituation.
SafeXOne system
The SafeXOne system is an innovative solution aiming to make pedestrian traffic safer. Below you can see a general version of the system and click on the button to view it in 3D.
Design
The system consists of four posts located at the four corners of a designated pedestrian crossing on the pavement.
Solar, street lighting or continuous grid power can be selected according to demand and availability.
The systems can also be powered solely by solar energy using solar panels, which allows for easy installation and can be installed in locations where mains supply is not available.
The operating time of the system without power input is 7-10 days.
SafeXOne provides dual protection: on one hand, a highly visible flashing amber light on the side of each post indicates to drivers that someone is crossing. On the other hand, the laser light emitted illuminates the feet of pedestrians as a secondary protection feature during crossing.
